On this I think you’re not that far out there. On a practical basis, The President of the United States cannot be a major holder of a crypto currency. I think even some magaheads would have a basic understanding of that.

I suppose it would make it easier for foreign actors to buy off Trump without having to put $10 million into bags, so good for them?
Bitcoin is speculative and imaginary at this time, but if the Congress passes legislation to form a bitcoin reserve, trillions of real concrete real dollars will be transferred from the tax payers to already Uber rich and powerful people, all for nothing something imaginary.
In terms of stakes or worst case, this combined with a debt ceiling default in JAN 2025 would be a death blow to the global economy and perhaps even the concepts of nation states or the western way of life. I think this is what Project 2025, the Musk/Trump/Putin phenomena, and the authoritarian shift in Europe is about or trying to effectuate.
That was 2019, this is now, and despite what he said then he has always been a part of the global authoritarian right project, just like crypto, so they’re aligned regardless.
Perhaps with Thiel in a more front and center role this election cycle Trump will be fronting more Thiel friendly policies like crypto out in the open or publicly.

Trump wants the trading cards, Thiel et al want to upend the system, so their interests are aligned I guess.

I know they made good money off those cards, and continue to get I think its 10% of every trade, but where are card values vs launch price?
