About to register for Ironman 70.3 Valencia. To my surprise, not Active.com registration anymore, but all seems to be on Ironman.com web now.
Anywho, fill in ALL the information, and checking OFF all the crap they are trying to sell me. Only to get to the end of the page, where I am stuck and “Continue” does not seem to render any response from the website. Anybody figured this out?
Stupid question, but did you enter your name (as you entered it in during the registration period) in the “My Name” box there?
Because without that it will not do a thing…
(They went to a full white-label reg platform earlier this year. We probably should do a story about it and the improvements it makes over Active…but we will get there.)

I put my real name there, but not for this screen dump.
Made it through to payment - but it is impossible… not letting me pay
haha - OMG, seems my address in the reg has to match the address they have pulled over from the old Active platform.
However, that can ONLY be a US address, as I need to state what US / Canadian STATE I live in.
Shit - they took my money, and I have no registration. This is going to be fun for…
I tried signing up for a race a few weeks back and it failed multiple times so I gave up and figured I’d try later.
Maybe they figure this is first step to becoming an Ironman – learning out to persevere through frustrating setbacks.
This is a BIG MESS! and miss
If they´d moved over all my account data, like my address, phone, email from my Active.com account, why do I have to re-enter all that, upon sign-up?
Also, there was nowhere, that I was requested signature/accept on data-protection.
What happens to all my data over at Active.com??
