It may be hard to see in the photo, but the ISM PN 1.1 saddle has a near 90 degree angle bend in the side rails of the saddle. The back rails are near vertical and not angled which would allow just a standard water bottle cage.
I’m looking to get ride of this heavy X-Lab metal adapter and I would love to see what other people have developed or used for this solution.

Zip ties work for my setup. Secure the top/middle of cage to the saddle rails and the bottom of the cage to seat post. May have to get creative with the type of cage or seat post you have, but this one is very secure.
Unstappled and pulled up seat cover…cut off rack hook…reattached cover…zip tied bottle cage.

I use the nog discontinued first version Specialized reserve rack that works great with PN 1.0 (same rail shape and seat shape as the 1.1).
It was kind of a pain to get on but I blame the mount itself
