LAS Crono Time Trial Helmet

I’ve seen it on bonktown a few times for $125 now. Is that a good deal and is that a good helmet? Can I get a better helmet for my money? I’m looking to spend around $100.
I like my LAS Crono I got from bonktown. It is less vented than others, so it probably gets hotter, but I wore it Sunday for Du Nats and didn’t notice my head getting hot (although I was probably hallucenating from the lack of fluid, perhaps due to increased sweating on my head, lol). It is the coolest looking helmet FOR SURE! I have the “carbon” color.
Shameless plug- I have a Giro Advantage 2 size L for sale. Silver. I only wore it for one race, however I purchased it from ST member Rahzel. There is some sticker/tape residue by the vents but I’m sure it can be taken off.
I passed on the Bonktown deal after trying on the LAS in a store. Upon closer inspection, the LAS is actually a $40 department store “round salad bowl” foam helmet with a fancy fairing/shell glued on top. It is not a molded “aero shaped” helmet like the Giro Advantage or the Spiuk. I find that the “one size fits all” retention system of the LAS is actually a manufacturing copout designed to reduce production cost - yet it retails for almost double that of a 2008 Advantage 2. The Giro comes in three different sizes and features a much better rentention system. That being said, I have no ideal which helmet is more aero… if that sort of thing is important to you.
I went with the Giro and am very happy it because it fits right, it is comfy and does not look as bulbous as the LAS. But I’m sure plenty of people out there love their LAS. My 0.02.
If it fits your head than it’s just another option
I have one cuz the Giro Advantage as well as many others, didn’t fit well.

The spiuk is gonna be the most aerodynamic but at over $200 its prolly not what you’re looking for.
In my opinion the Giro Advantage is gonna be the best helmet for the price.
