Is there such a thing as a rear wheel that is both Shimano ***and ***Campy compatible? I have an Ultegra 9-speed bike and a Chorus 10-speed bike…am I screwed when it comes to buying a new wheel set that it will only fit one? I noticed that the Zipp 404s are said to be full cross system compatible, but I assume that means only within the major brands, right?

You could use a Shimano-style freehub on the wheel, and for the Campy bike mount an American Classic conversion cassette. They work beautifully. I bought mine at glorycycles.com, and no, I don’t have any affiliation with them. I recall it costing around 80 bucks and it has been very durable.
MY understanding is that a shimano cassette will be just fine on a campy drivetrain and vice-versa. I’m sure that if im wrong someone will say so.
