Appointments disappearing then reappearing on my phone (Android device). Appointments disappearing then reappearing in Outlook on my computer. The Outlook app and other calendar apps are USELESS!
I’ve only used the bog-standard calendar app that comes as part of my Galaxy S3. Never had any of those issues with it.
Look at this thing called Google. I heard they have all kinds of stuff you might be interested in.
no problems here, Calendar on my iPhone, Windows Outlook on laptop and Windows desktop at work all synced and working fine and effortless.
yeah I’ve been having trouble with the outlook app for a while - although I think I’ve set it to sync less frequently (ie. no push)
google calendar works way better for me. But I also share my calendar with my gf and my pool has their schedule on google as well which is a huge plus.
I’ve never had a problem with Outlook and I’ve been using it forever. I recently purchased GSyncIt to sync my calendar, contacts and to-dos to my Android phone (had a Blackberry before). Love it and it’s cheap.
Google Calendar. I use it on my android (Google Calendar app), my macbook (imported Google Calender into the native apple calendar), and share it to my wife’s android and iPhone. Pretty simple to use, and never drops information, short of operator error. Plus, it exports appointments from gmail very well, without prompting, though it often depends on the format of the email it receives.
