I can’t figure out a way to do it. Is there a trick I’m not aware of? Thanks

You could try praying really hard to the baby Jesus, or Saint Barnabus the patron saint of the internet.
gesh…tough room.
Of course you know that a unique URL is issued with every video, meaning that you can cut & paste or copy and send anyone or any group to that video. The double compression process to go from capture to YouTube is so horrible that saving it to a hrad drive would be like keeping all your blown tubes on your tie rack. That being said, there are so many exceptions and circumstances that are part of the YouTube universe, that might warrant a save, so, if it’s not a highly protected piece, why not send a message to the person who did the upload and ask for a PM with the clip attached. That way you can have it on your HD in, most likely, much better rezolution. Good Luck but you might want to ask the Buddha too.
If you are using firefox you can download an extension which will allow you to save any streaming video to your machine.
There are several different ones, I use Video Downloader but have no particular preference, it was just the first one I tried.
