Outfitting my bike for IMTX, looking for armpad upgrade. Currently have stock Felt pads. I hear a lot about Cee Gees Cushys. Is this the end all? Particularly to fit my existing setup?
Thanks!

Ceegee pads are really all that and a bag of chips. They do however add a considerable amount of stack vs other pads.
Dude I bought my first set of Cee Gees right b/f Gulf Coast…think it was like 89 or 90? They lasted like 5 years and the only reason I had to get new ones was b/c I forgot take them off b/f putting the rig on the roof rack…they blew off. Currently have them on Bayonet…would pay 3x what they charge it’s not ever close. WIN>
Like little wee La-z-boys for your elbows
.
I agree wholeheartedly with everything everyone has been saying. No other pads come close.
They rock.
I’ve often thought of sourcing some high density black foam and a cutter… can’t be hard to setup a competing business selling arm pads, can it?

While I haven’t thought about making my own, I definitely have wondered why Ceegee’s are so good. I mean they certainly don’t look like there is anything special to them. How hard could it be to cut foam into some squares?
Yet, the more stock foam, or worse, godawful ‘gel’ pads you ride, the more surprising it is that people still are getting it so wrong.
Probably a lot harder than any of us can imagine. I mean how can a company in business as long as Profile churn out such repeated shit arm pads? It’s comical really. Vision Tech? Mine bottomed out in 500 miles. Felt gels were the only ones that didn’t bottom out, but they are not thick enough for me heck I would have two round indentation on my elbow from the bolt holes on long rides!
Thanks for the info! I’ll be attaching mine the to the Bayonet, as well. The website says something about a kit needed to attach to Felt Bayonet after 2011? Did you run into this? Isn’t just held on w/ velcro?
Nevermind. Just called and talked to them. They’re saying that the velcro on the back of the Cushys is the same side as that on the standard Felt armrest. So you’ve got to remove it and put new velcro on. Anyway, they were very helpful and quick to answer.
Thanks, again.

I actually didn’t have to change it b/c by the looks of my 2nd hand Bayonet bar it was probably the first one off the line in the spring of 1908.

Think about how cool a/c feels on your sweaty bean bag after a July 80 miler in the middle of the day. CeeGees are even better. Best $35 you ever spent…well next to carbon fiber cable crimps.
kinda like when you’re driving a classic car with the little vent windows and you can channel the air right onto the boys.
so ready for that feeling on my elbows… lol
