I’m not a good runner (12min/m) and have just solved a few lower leg problems that have plagued me for years. I’m a pretty good swimmer (1:30/100yds) and an ok cyclist (18-21mph over mostly flat). So as I increase my running frequency can I just run as hard as I can or should I be building. and if i’m building in my run do I need to be in a build stage in the other 2? Will bike intervals ruin the build phase for the run? TIA.
You sound like you need to build a running base, regardless if you’re farther along in the other two.
Intervals shouldn’t ruin anything - a lot of people do 2x20 or similar intervals all the time…
Thanks, and yes I need alot of work on my running.
