I am considering a career change. I hate sitting behind a desk and I like RE. How does being a RE agent affect training/racing? Too much weekend work? More or less freedom (than a 8-5 desk job) in general?
my last GF was a R/E agent.
it absolutely SUCKED…she was ALWAYS on her cell phone. we never had a weekend together and we could never sit thru a meal w/o the f’in phone ringing.

If you are talking residential RE, it is a tough, feast or famine job with painful hours. If you are sharp, commercial RE allows you to have a life, and is damn interesting. It is even more feast or famine though.
If you can find me some dirt I can build another apartment complex on, I will pay you 3 per cent. Happy hunting.

I am a florida boy and very particular about my dirt. south Jeasey dirt need not apply.
try doing investment property and rentals, good career with retirement potential from the property you own once it’s paid off
