There is an old thread from a few years ago that claims that the race holds an unpublished Saturday morning registration for Ironman Wisconsin. Is this still the case?
I would e-mail WTC and explain your circumstances…I couldn’t get to the race until Friday night a few years ago, and was assured that I could register Saturday morning. Its not advertised, but they should work with you.

There’s some sort of exception procedure- I know 2 people who have done it- one for Wisconsin, 1 for Arizona. One was doing his internship as a teacher and couldn’t miss friday, the other was in the military and not able to leave until friday night. If you have valid circumstances, NAS should help out.
It is not NAS anymore. You need to contact WTC or the IM WI race director to find out the policy for 2009.
