I am curious about your thoughts on that long decent at about 85 miles or so. I heard speeds can get well over 40mph.
yes, it’s fast. There is a very fast section before the snow canyon turn off (not part of the 70.3 course). It also depends on wind through that section, there can be a brutal head wind at times or a nice tail wind (which I’ve only had during the StG marathon and not the 70.3. But you can get well over 40 mph, I hit 51 on the training ride.
