I did IM Chatty the first year and it was wetsuit optional. I assume most years are the same. Just curious if anyone has ever done it when it was wetsuit legal.
Also, Any ideas on where to check water temp?

I would be very surprised if IM Chattanooga is wetsuit legal. This has been one hot, humid Summer here in SE TN!

Last year I found a couple temps published online from the Chicamauga Lake which feeds the downstream river, but temps in the lake above the dam can be cooler as I understand it than the river.
Yes, last year was wetsuit legal.
Just did a race that was wetsuit legal in middle TN last week.
Think it just depends on the body of water.
