Is it just me or will they put their logo on everything?
I get the 70.3 races being branded as they are selling their races as a premium brand, but my sister in law just bought an Ironman branded recumbent exercise bike. I’ve also seen that my gym carries Ironman branded lifting straps.
It’s almost like they want to make money or something! Sheesh…the nerve. 
It is no different than the 1000’s of other companies marketing their name out there. Name/brand recognition. That’s where you want to be.
I just suspected when your brand is related to long distance triathlons you would stick to those sort of products. You don’t really see the Kashi deep fryer in stores.
True but isn’t the Ironman “brand” all about a healthy lifestyle? So they could slap their logo on anything they deem to make somebody more healthy or stronger or whatever. They have a recognizable brand name. At the risk of watering it down (which I would agree it looks like they are doing to me), they may as well milk it. Who knows how long it will last.
