Giro Ionos 2011 helmet and Catlike Whisper plus are both on competitive cyclist. Giro is $90 Catlike is $156. Anyone have experience with both or either of these helmets? Is the $66 difference worth it?

I went from Atmos to Ionos and didn’t like the Ionos, different fit and didnt fit right. I now have the new louis garneau and its great.
Never used the Catlike, but LOVE my Ionos. I’ll wear it until all the foam rots or I can’t stand the smell of it any longer. $90 is such a steal. I’d get two.
have you ever tried on either brand before? giro helmets just don’t fit my head, and i know i’m not the only one, so i’d really recommend trying one on.
that said, i got my current helmet (LAS) online without trying it on and it fits great, so i probably shouldn’t be talking…
I just ordered the Catlike whisper off CC, but I have to return it. 
Cool looking helmet, but they have a round internal shape, so it presses against my forehead when I have it on. The giros are more oblong, I had an atmos which fit pretty well. I’m probably going to try an s works prevail next, that was my second choice.
The ionos for 90 is a small. If you can fit in a small size helmet then you’re very lucky. Last time I checked performancebikes they had all sorts of deals on small helmets, they had ionos for 100 and atmos for 80, and volts for 90, and a advantage 2 for 65. I haven’t looked in the last month though.
Thanks, I have not tried on either of these but the circular fit does not work with my head. I think I’ll go with the ionos.
