Installing/removing SRAM vs. Shimano cassette... tools?

I’ve got a new Shimano cassette that’ll be replacing a SRAM Red one. I’ve never installed/removed a cassette before… are there different tools required for the SRAM vs. Shimano? Is attempting to do this myself a stupid idea? The wheel is a Zipp 404, if that makes any difference.

Should be the same tool I believe. A cassette wrench and chain whip are one of best investments I made. Swapping cassettes is a piece of cake. Don’t be scared of it.

Chainwhip, adjustable wrench, and cassette lockring remover.

Same tool for both.

Nope. SRAM and Shimano use the same lockring removal tool. You’ll need one of those and a chain whip. It’s a pretty easy process. Here’s a park tool link for help.

Edit: Must be lunch time. You people are quick!

Same tools, just a lockring tool (and a wrench large enough to hold it) and a chain whip.
