Hey gang just curious about a small bump on bottom of my wife’s foot? It is about the size of Pea and is located on that band on the bottom of her foot in the middle. She says she feels it during her run. Doesn’t neccesarily hurt but feels it. I have seen a lot of foot issues but never this one. Any thoughts?
Probably a plantar fibroma (google that). The fibroma itself is usually painless, but they can get larger or multiple and then painful as they exert a “mass effect”
I agree with rroof about diagnosis. If the mass effect of having a bump on bottom of foot might try an insert into her shoes and cut out a hole where the bump is to unload the bump. If real bad could have it removed surgically…
