Does anyone use these? Do they help with blisters?
I have used them for about a year and have not had a single blister. They feel a little funny at first but the sensation of your toes is quickly forgotten.
The only downside of these socks is that it takes me a few minutes to put them on so they are better suited to training than racing.
Agreed. Great training socks, but would never try to use them in racing. Unless you are doing a stand alone running event.
Love them! Especially on longer runs.
I use them but primarily for longer races…I used to get blisters between my toes at anything 1/2IM and longer…now, no such problems…and putting them on in T2 is not as bad as you might imagine…
YMMV,
Paul
I use these all the time in training and running races. In the last year that I have been using them I have had no blisters or hot spots, nothing but good experiences for me. I don’t use them in triathlons (1/2 distance or shorter) mainly due the time and effort in T2. However, doing IM again this year I will probably take the time in T2 to put a pair on.
YES. I use them for long runs and 1/2 marathons or longer. Blisters between or on top of the toes → gone. Expensive, yes, but give them a shot. Good luck.
I used to use them, but found that I could never truly get used to the feeling of fabric between my toes. Instead I switched to the Asics Kayano socks and Blister Shield power. I switched a year ago and through training, six half-marathons and 4 marathons, I haven’t had one blister.

They are truely the shit, love em! Two toes in one hole is a coomon occurance so I too do not race with them in triathlon, but do in all my long distance runs. No blisters, ever.

I have some and was only using them when I ran on a treadmill. On a TM I really sweat and they kept the blisters away when the socks got wet. I haven’t been using them on my long runs outside and yesterday I got a blister on my left big toe while doing a 21+ miler. I read this thread in the morning and got the Injinji socks out for my short run today. They were great! The blister I already had did not present any problem and did not get worse. I’ll definitely wear these socks on my next long run.
great sock for long runs. they just feel good. use them for IM racing as well.
I used them for a 50-miler with no problems.
I would not use them for tris as it takes too long for me to put them on.
I don’t use them for road marys either just because my feet rarely have problems with that distance, assuming use of bodyglide.
I was wondering about these myself. I seem to get blisters everywhere no matter what I have tried. Thanks for the feedback
I use them for my long runs in training. I love them and not a blister in site, ever! I used to use Features socks and would get a small one between my toes every now and then when feet would get really wet. The only down side to these socks is that they would not be transition friendly.
I have two pair and really like them. They are a bit of a bugger to get on though. More importantly they make me laugh as they give my feet a cartoon like appearance, especially the purple ones.
Never tried the Injinji Socks, but I love the Balago ones.
