Industry - tv show, season 4

Does anyone else watch this? I’ve been watching since the first season was released and it’s one of my fave shows. For those that haven’t seen it, it is kind of a cross between Succession and Euphoria. Has gotten darker as it has gone on. Last night’s episode dealt with the 40th birthday party of an english aristocrat whose father committed suicide in front of him on his own 40th (or thereabouts).

This episode was some of the best tv I have ever watched. Extremely dark - show basically follows recent grads entering the investment banking industry and all of the hi-jinks and dramas they are faced with. Has some of the sharpest dialogue around.

Its characters are complex and nearly all unlikeable - apart from Robert. About the only person who has found a moral compass.

I am. Caught the 1st episode of the new season. (stopped reading the rest of your post to not spoil it).

Based on what I saw this season, I may not last all episodes. The sex crap is unnecessary and seems like it’s crossing the line to NSFW levels. Not that I’m watching at work, but you get what I mean.

It should be more Succession (business, politics, office/personal dynamics, etc.) and less Euphoria.

Anyone else catch the finale? IMO it is some of the best tv out there. The music is always perfectly selected and timed, and now it seems like Harper is the one with the moral compass. Yas continues to be a horrible person - she was always going to get worse after choosing Lord Muck over Robert.

Caught episode 8 yesterday. This season started meh, but got better with each episode.

Not sure I fully understood the Russian angle (or that they made enough of it).
Wonder if we’ll ever see Eric again?
Yas’ seems to find herself up, then down, then up. I think she’s up, but really that situation can’t be good or last long.

Glad to see that there will be a season 5. Bummed that that will be the last.

Russian angle was to get people’s data wasn’t it?
