Increased heart-rate after jetlag

In the last three year I’ve been to China 15 times, every trip some two weeks. Between Belgium (where I live) and Shanghai (where I work) is 6 or 7 hours difference. I’m 43 Y and MOP. Never have sleeping problems with jetlags, never feel tired after a 10h flight (I fly business-class). I don’t stop training while I’m in China.

Back home I notice an important increase in heart-rate : between 5 and 10 bpm.
This lasts about 3 to 4 days.

Anybody the same experience ?
What can I do ?

I notice it after shorter flights than that and with no other ‘jet lag’ related issues. I’ve always chalked it up to dehydration (seems unavoidable in plane travel) and stiffness from sitting around in the airport/plane/transit all day. Usually only lasts a day for me but those are shorter flights.
