In search of: Orbea Ordu 2013-2015 seatpost and/or seat raising hacks

Hello,

Earlier this year I purchased an Orbea Ordu from the 2013-2015 series second-hand. while it seemed good on the short 2 min test ride spot, on my first proper ride I realized the seatpost is cut too short, and I can’t raise it enough. Does anyone by any chance have a spare laying around, or know a source from where I can buy a new one? I already contacted Orbea, sadly they are out of stock, and so far googling didn’t yield any results.

Also, as a plan B, I’m looking for ideas to stick with this and instead win a little stack height on the seat position. Right now I have a cobb gen2 saddle for its high stack rails, it is OK, not the best fit ever but it works, but its nose is disintegrating pretty fast, so I’m not sure this is a long-term solution. I saw a tip somewhere that you can gain a cm with a custom bikepacking saddlebag rail, sadly this doesn’t work with these circular seat clamps, but looking for similar ideas. Codename: ‘if it looks stupid but it works, it’s not stupid’

I see you are using speed plays so not much you can do there unless you have the option to drill into the carbon sole and get rid of the speedplay plate between shoe and Cleat )
longer cranks could work if it works fit wise .
have you taken off insole of shoes that could give a an easy few mm
the Adamo prologue is a saddle that builds high and could give you also a few mm .

no, shimano ES-600 regular spd pedals with shimano RX8 shoes (I know, I know…), crank length is 175, I definitely wouldn’t go higher. thanks, will check out the shoe insole idea, as well as the adamo prolouge (though current one is mighty tall as it is with ~65 mm)
