Hopefully not, that was nasty stuff and cost a lot of families their homes. I usually go watch IMC every year, but elected not to that year - CORD (Kelowna area) didn’t need more people coming into the area (maybe if we had been planning to stay in Penticton or S of Summerland, we might have gone). My sister in law was racing and said it was pretty bad at times on the bike, esp past Vaseux Lake, where a second smaller fire had started just days before the race.
Tough call by the RD.
