Albums 1 and 2 are randoms.
If you raced with a Running Away, GAG, Well-fit Inc, or Tri Shark jersey, you’re in the third gallery (IM MOO 2008 - Sponsor…).
CTC members are in Album 4.

Photos were re-sized for 4x6" prints. You can download this version by clicking the “Download” link on the page. If you want the original, PM me.

Tip: You can increase the size of the thumbnails by moving the slider at the top of the page.

Thanks for taking all of those. I found one of me running. I can’t believe I missed that guy on the hill! Was he with the tattooed grandmother (at least I assume she was a grandma)?

Wow, did I manage to screw up any potential for a decent shot of me on the bike. Is there a reason why nobody told me to rub in the sun block? Or am I just out there for the amusement of others?

I saw the guy on Old Sauk Pass in the shorts-YIKES!
He had a banana stuck half way in his shorts when I went by him…as I rode by I asked him if he had a banana in his shorts or if he was just happy to see me…got a lot of laughs from the fans around him.

Great pictures!

Thanks for taking all those photos. I found one of a buddy. I was disappointed to not find any of me. I guess I am not photogenic :frowning:

I remember that. the crowd was really rolling after that comment.

We were calling you “the Mime” when you went by.

Hahaha! I heard a couple people talking about how I had sunblock on my face and figured it was a little dab or so. Ooops. Great shots as usual, though. I think I’ll be stealing one for my finisher’s plaque (yes I’m a dork and bought one).

Btw, I’m joining you and Simpson in the “Sprints and Olys Only Club” after this (assuming you’re still a member).

Hey, that’s me on the cover of Album #1 in the arm warmers. Am I famous now?

Thanks

wow - 1000 + photos and not one of me. More evidence that I did not even show up last Sunday ; )

I wish I had a photo of the Aid Station Six “Vaseline Girl” They will be a slam dunk for the best aid station award.

I don’t remember that one. Was that the “Welcome back to the 60’s” aid station or the one after that?

chris

That was the one out by the hospital near the Ford Inspiration Station. Pretty hot, skimpy outfit and rubber gloves. It was a priceless image.

I gotta say that I honestly don’t remember anyone meeting that description there. I must have been sicker than I thought!!! I even stopped there and got vaseline. NOTE TO SELF: Vaseline on an already chaffed area does not make it feel better!! It was sort of like rubbing salt in a wound.

It was late in the afternoon I was on my first lap and the pro’s were finishing up. Maybe around 2-4. I love people watching which makes IMOO a great course since the University of Berkley Midwest Campus attracts a wide range of people.

I finished in 12:25 so I was probably there about the same time.

I remember her. I was in a zone but do remember passing thinking that I wish I needed vasoline. My daughters will NEVER offer to rub vasoline on sweaty lycra covered triathletes. If I was only more aware of my surroundings! It seems as if all I noticed was about 138 miles of pavement.

Thanks for the pics. You had a great photo of my wife on there. It looks like the guy on the hybred DNF’d… that was too bad as it would have been great if he finished.

Haha, you too?

Not sure what I may be doing wrong, but I am unable to view any of your albums. Any suggestions?
