How quickly did IM LP fill for 2007? Or How long do you think it will fill for next year?

IM LP 2007 filled up in something crazy like 45 minutes on July 23 2006. Online registration opened at 9:00am EST and by 10:00am the event was full. The year before that it took two hours. I don’t know how it works if you’re on-site, though. This year I figure it’ll be full in less than an hour.
Where do they post the day and time online signup will start?

Online signup is always tghe day after the event usually around 9 or 10am.
The website says onsite registration begins the next day ( 7/23) at 9:00am and online registration begins at 11:00.
My question. If it fills up onsite will they even open online registration?
Just to piss off my wife a little more, are there any ST’ers who will happen to be there and would like to help a man out so I don’t have to do IMAZ again next year. In addition to the registration fee I will throw in a paper IM medal made by my 6 year old, cookies baked by my mom, and probably a good recommendation for a divorce attorney.
Sign up is usually on Active.com, but the link isn’t there right now. After IMLP 2007, you should be able to go to the IMLP website (http://www.ironmanusa.com/entry.php) and follow the link to registration. In the past, entry has always been open at 9:00am EST.
Does anyone know if you are allowed to register for someone else while you are registering in person?
I’d be interested to know if someone on site can sign up a friend as well. Anyone know?

Yes.
Someone can sign themselves, and one other person up. The other person will need to give the on site person:
Name Date of Birth Address email address
Then NA Sports gives you a certificate with a access code to sign up on active.com within two weeks (i think).
Thankfully, my friend is signing my ass up!

Can someone one who is NOT registering for themselves get the entry vouchers for two other people? Lets say I want to get three friends and myself in. My wife stands in line with me and gets my buddies in and I get myself and buddy in.

FWIW…In 2005 one of my friends signed me up for 2006 IM Canada. He did not sign up for himself, just me.
