My next door neighbor signed up for Louisville and I’m curious to see who else from my town did(only a 4 hour drive).
Has a participant list been posted yet?? If so, I can’t find it.

Since it isn’t an IMNA event the websites are different and I don’t think they are including a list anywhere right now.
I emailed the organizer before I registered about when a website will be up. I believe he said that it will be Jan 1. Anyone else know anything about this?
In an email from Steve from WTC he said that they will likely use the current Ironman website and not have a seperate site for the event. Jan 1 was talked about for having course information posted but have heard nothing on a participation list yet.
Yeah, I think the WTC is probably going through growing pains. They used to essentially just organize 1 race (Kona) and just sanction the rest of the IM’.
Now they are suddenly producing and directing more races with the 70.3 Championships, IM Louisville and who knows what else.
Just like the local mom & pop business that starts small with just the family, a bookkeeper, etc. and suddenly business is booming and they’re growing and have to make a leap/conversion to the corporate model (Hiring a COO/Operations Mgr, Controller/CFO, Business Dev. Dir/Sales, Marketing, etc. like true corporations) and hire more people. Working as consultant with emerging businesses I’ve seen many companies go through sudden tremendous growths in business and get overhelmed until they get all the people in place. I’m sure the WTC has a growth plan/model in place, but right now is a little overwhelmed with IM 70.3 C’Ship and recently IM Louisville added to their platter along with whatever future plans they have.
Cool, race info on Jan 1. Can’t wait. I hope to be down in Louisville during my Reading Week (politically correct Canadian term for the university “Spring Break”), and ride and run the course. I’ll send out another post closer to the date so I can hook up with the locals there.
