What does “bump” mean?
I think to “bump” is to move your thread up to the top of the page where it can get more views and hopefully, a response.
Is there a similar way to kill a thread and make it ‘go away’?
Thanks. Up until now, I hought “bump” meant, that someone didn’t like your thread and wanted it to be removed.
Don’t know of anything to kill a thread unless the sys admin does it. Otherwise, threads live on because it’s all about freedom of speech.
Yes. I just spoke with one of the race directors (a co-worker of mine) and he said that it will definitely be in PC next year. He said that he knows of no plans for it to be moved elsewhere.

Yes, he is reliable. Without giving his name, he is a race director for the GCT and IMFL. He also flies << flies to (that would be a neat trick) >> and helps at other IM races.
I emailed IMNA about this time last year asking about 2005 and beyond. Their response was it’s staying in PC.
