IM Austria (4 weeks away) has FINALLY posted their sports drink and it is… Immulac. A google search has turned up nothing. Has anyone heard of this? Tried it? What is its carb ratio, etc, other vital statistics?
I tested it yesterday on a very hard and long ride, for me it tastes well and works well. 67g carbo per liter mainly from maltodextrin and a little sugar, 600mg sodium.
While I wouldnt buy it normally (its three times more expensive than my preferred powerbar hydroplus) I bought a small amount in a pharmacy (for testing purpose) and will use it during the race.
Definitely a major improvement on the Peeroton stuff they used last year (no carbs but artificial sweetener in it).
I would compare it to Hydro Plus in quality (for me it worked the same), the high price is not justified though.
