Time to relocate for a month ?

But then you’d have to live in the Houston area and the place sucks.
If you have the money to live in the woodlands that more than makes up for having to live near Houston
I do and I wouldn’t. Been there and done that.
I do like The Woodlands though. I lived in another nice ‘burb of Houston from 2004-2019. Yes, my nice little bubble was just that but occasionally you have to leave it. Houston is one of the ugliest cities in the country combined with horrible traffic and godawful weather. I joke that it was our 15 year prison sentence. There’s no sugarcoating it. Houston sucks.
I’ll be doing an age group camp in November 2025, similar to the Pro Camp I put on in January, or you can put together your own private camp where you swim with the team and we do a lot of one on one work in the endless pool for a few days.
If you have any questions, let me know.

do you still do 1-on-1 up at the pool in magnolia?
I have an endless pool near Magnolia, so yes.
It’s swimeasyspeed.com

I would be interested in the Nov 25 AG one, but please don’t set it on the same weekend as the 703WC.
It’ll probably be the weekend after. I’m potentially going to tie it in with a race on the last day of the camp. There’s a local half ironman distance race where everyone at the camp will be able to do the swim portion of the race - November 12 - 16.
For you’re into enjoying the outdoors, hard to argue. I left Houston for the PNW and never looking back except to visit family and friends. The Woodlands is a better part of Houston, but it’s hard to compare to the wealth of the great outdoors in other parts of the country.
I left Houston for Switzerland. Surprisingly, I’ve never looked back either.
Woodlands a little far for me. Any recs on swim coaches a little closer to town?
