I just mounted a tire to one of my 808’s. There is a noticable difference in the amount of rim tape that shoes although the wheels quote a 26 and 26.5 mm width. I guess the tire wells on the Easton are a little shallower than the Zipps. Also the Zipps actually seemed easier to mount. Is that common with aluminum tubular wheels that they are more shallow? I think I should have tried mounting my zipps first.
