Well…using a metric of W/CdA, they’ve got you beat at 1378 W/m^2 vs. 1276 W/m^2
yeah, but according to everyone on the wattage list, our combined FTP is closer to 700 watts or so…(makes the ‘gizmo busting files’ seem less ‘gizmo busting’…).
We’ve talked about trying the mixed TT @ Natz some day, but the logistics just seem like they’re a bit much. Someday…maybe…

Just don’t get a tandem road bike. Her aero bars could really hurt you if you slide too far back in the saddle.

I provide most of the mass and power. CdA nearly evenly split but it helps that I have better toys.
regarding tandems, i’d be willing to bet that we could set up my opus counterpoint III tandem to give a more aero 2-person position than almost any unfaired machine out there. front rider is recumbent, rear needs to be fitted to they tuck down just behind the front rider’s head. the bike is a bit heavy, but on a flat course, with the right riders …
