Anniversary is coming. What do you give the (man) triathlete that has everything. I can tell you he isn’t into technical gadgets as a rule. I am looking for something creative as much as an “thing”. Is there something you have gotten from a gf or wife that really thrilled you?
Don’t need any “sex” ideas, I have that handled already. After 33 years, there isn’t much new that hasn’t been already tried.

You need to create a great memory, since gifts come and go.
My ideal “suprise” type gift would be to charter a private flight to either NY or Vegas, limo to/from the hotel, tickets to a good show (My suggestion is KA! by Cirque Du Soleil in Vegas, awesome show), nice romantic dinner, and flight back the next day. What you do between dinner and home is up to you…
If you do that, call the hotel concierge ahead of time, explain, they can hook you up. Especially in Vegas, it’s what they do.
I’d do that for my wife next year, but $$ won’t allow it, so SOMEONE should do it.
Entry to Escape to Bermuda triathlon. Its a great destination tri, and you can relax on the beautiful pink beaches afterward.
c’mon, does everything have to revolve around triathlon? Sure, he’s a triathlete, but is that ALL he is? Strange as it may sound, a lot of people have other interests than tri, even if they are involved in the sport
You live in Florida right? A catered barbeque on a favorite beach with the whole family. Followed by a drink at a nice nearby hotel or B&B with just you. Your husband doesn’t appear to be a “stuff” guy and I’d be willing to bet that if there’s something he wants - he buys it.
My wife and i are only about half way to 33 years of marriage. Sounds corny, but what ‘thrills’ me is seeing my wife and kids happy and content.
Triathlon is something I ultimately have to admit I do for me. I have enough guilt about that such that triathlon gifts, while appreciated, sort of embarrass me. Anniversaries are about the two of you - no triathlon stuff.

I love your ideas, unfotunately sitting through a play or show is cruel and unusual punishnent to Joe. He doesn’t like cities. He would be more into a trip to the mountains, exotic beach or such. Spending a day at a huge museum would thrill him too. Getting away is a good idea.

Hrm, well, Denver has a pretty good natural history museum, and TONS of hiking/other stuff, or going with the NY theme, the Met is fantabulous.
Anything that saves him time or energy in his daily life or is relaxing and de-stressing will be very, very appreciated.
Examples of things I’ve received and really loved were: - a massuer coming to my home or office, a nice lunch being deliverd to my office, some one coming to my place to tune, clean and pack my bike for a race, some one coming over to clean my car once/month for a year.
Some things that might apply to your specific man …
does he have a nice little personal fridge at work for healthy foods and beer?
does he have a washing machine at work? (I think he trains from the office quite a bit???) a closet there for training gear?
a battery operated electric razor for the car? (He *NEEDS *one! )
a nice hammock in the back yard in a shady spot - my favorite place in the world…
At first I dreaded it, but once I got there it was great !
A weekend of activities like massages, cooking lessons with a full blown executive chef, hiking trails, indoor lap pool, swedish sauna, optional manicure and an
awesome All U Can Eat healthy brunch.
This was in Manchester Vermont at the Equinox Resort & Spa.
My wife did all of the above as well as some outlet shopping.
So FWIW, there’s a great 1/2 IM race in Vermont call the Vermont Half Journey thats a few weeks away…you can schedule Joe to do that race , then drive 45 mins north to Manchester for the Spa weekend ( well Mon-Tue weekend ; ) )
