I’m pretty careful with my diet and I stick to good, nutritional, well-planned meals. But when I get to the West coast (usually for work) I go nuts at In-N-Out Burger and in two days I’ve racked up the following:
2 X Single Cheeseburgers
1 X Double Cheeseburger
3 X Fries
13 X Packets of extra Spread
2 X Choc Shakes
A lot of damage to recover from when I get back home tomorrow morning…
I have this problem, too! Whenever I go down to California to visit my family, I seem to eat there way too often. I’m a fan of the double-double w/ grilled onions. YUM!
ETA I despise fast food and never eat the stuff, but In-N-Out is the exception for some reason.
Everybody loves In-N-Out…everybody, that’s what a hamburger’s all about man. Even vegatarians love In-N-Out. I’ve got a vegatarian buddy who will go there every time he come to town and orders their grilled cheeses. Wait till you find out about their secret menu, so delicous. Animal style burgers and fries, 4x4s, coffee flavored shakes, etc. That being said, I can’t eat there because I’m afraid my inner fat kid will come out and I won’t make my race weight. Damn you triathlons!
One of the few things I miss about living in Las Vegas is definitely In-N-Out Burger … animal style, fries and chocolate shake. Fast food doesn’t get any better. Colorado has absolutely nothing to compare. I was in Vegas in December for the marathon, and I ate at In-N-Out three times in three days. My wife was jealous.
Had my first one in January in Arizona. Love everything about the place. My kids were saying “what’s going to be SOOOO special Dad?” They loved it too. Wish I could put one down the street in Pennsylvania!!!
My dad moved to Vegas three years ago from the midwest and he just loves IN N OUT. He really was not a fan of hamburgers before but IN N OUT is a different story.
There’s all kinds of good food I miss from California. In-n-out, Jack in the Box, real carne asada burritos, etc, etc. The East Coast really doesn’t have the key fast food places.
Funny. Last week at training camp my coach and her husband were talking about how after she finishes IM AZ he HAS to drive her thru to get a double-double animal burger!!!
What’s not to love? Certain things in life you have just say WTF! In n Out is one of those things! Double Double is worth the extra work on the pain train!
