I look like a dork in every cycling helmet

Every helmet seems to sit high on my head and I look like a dork. Other guy’s helmets seem to fit nicely around their head in a low-profile kid of way. If you think you look good in your helmet, what helmet are you wearing?

I recently got an LAS Squallo helmet. I love the comfort and fit. LG gave me a replacement after my crash I think it is the Exo Nerve model, but it does sit a little higher. The LAS is super comfortable.

Ya sure it’s the helmet?

I too have a large egghead. Oh well, at least I look good in the spandex.

Giro Atmos, fits super low.

picture please…

The more different helmets I try on, the more there is only one thing constant
.

I believe all helmets look stupid. I think everyone looks like a dork in a helmet. Helmets are the necessary evil in the cycling world. They look dumb but they save your life. Just wear the most comfortable one and be comfortable with fact they all look stupid.

I did not know it was a fashion show. Besides, who has time to look at your helmet when you are riding.

Pick the one that fits the best and go with it.

I think you should change your ST handle to egghead
.

tilt it forward. if that fails, get a new head.

It’s been a while since I ran a marathon. You might be on to something here…

I have a small head and look terrible in all aero helmets. Thus, I am going back to a regular helmet. I look significantly better.

You should go for this look:

.

Nix the helmet and go with a cycling cap

Perhaps the helmet is only half of the equation?

Dorky looking sunglasses can ruin the way you look in a perfectly fine helmet.

My ‘sophisticated’ lady friends call this ‘accessorizing’

As they would never carry a purse that does not complement their shoes, neither should you wear a helmet that does not complement your sunglasses.

I feel your pain. I have the same problem. I always thought it was cause I was too cheap to buy expensive helmets, but when I try them at the store, they don’t look right. Oh well.
