Devil’s Advocates are great (and refreshing) to have around … until they start taking themselves too seriously.
Then, the “challenges” become more annoying than wortwhile.
We have enough people around here that “challenge everything”. But, I hear TNO is in desperate need of a DA …

Trust me, I don’t take myself seriously and neither should you… but the more serious you are about yourself the greater the chance that I’ll challenge something. It’s my intention to make waves when I post. Although I might send oneforty.6 and ellwood some ass-kissing posts, hehe!

Actually I was thinking something like “el advocato de el diablo.” Literally “the advocate of the devil.” Diablo-Advocado sounds alot like a spicy dish.
Me? I’m going to call him avogadro’s boy/girl… whatever…

according to babelfish, devil’s advocate in Italian is fautore del diavolo … diabolo advocato could sound either Italian-ish or Spanish-ish.
