I have better things to do than

kiss Bikesports collective ass, but it has to be said I am very impressed with the Bikesport folks.

Never been there, and never spoken to them until last week. A friend of mine was racing two weeks ago when the chain caught in her rear der and the hanger snapped! She brought it to me, and I said I woul try to source a replacement for her. Phoned Tom D after posting here and sure enough he has a bunch laying around- although he seems unsure why? The miniscule piece is shipped to me in the Caymans within 24hours… cool. Well, it arrived yesterday and I open the box to find a bianchi stem, bb tool and quill stem! Immediately assume it is the wrong box and write return to sender on the box and hand it back to the postie. Get back to the office and phone them, they say they will look into it. ten minutes later an e-mail marked URGENT arrives- the box is the right one and has the wee hanger in it- the other stuff was put in to make the minimum weight! So now I have a stem, bb tool and quill to boot.

I will donate the other items to folks in need (ala TSR but Cayman Style) and get the friend’s bike fixed, in the meantime cheers Bikesport folks.
