Huub Agilis vs Varmin What’s the difference?

Hey all!

For the life of me I can’t figure out what is the difference is between the two. They both have the same technologies, both 3:5. Is it worth the extra money?

I’ve tried both at the shop before buying the Agilis. For me the Varman has too much buoyancy around the hips compared to the Varman. It felt like there are additional panels around the hip area to keep you up higher whereas the Agilis felt more homogeneous. I do have quite a high body position to start with.

Thank you!! This is really helpful. I don’t have a swimming background but my legs only sink a little.

The best advice is to try them both. If you’re anywhere close to The Netherlands, then there are shops where you can have a try in both of them.

Unfortunately I’m in Australia and it doesn’t look like there are stockist’s here. That’s all good though I’ll figure something out.

Tomvd5 explains them quite accurate. The foampanels on the Varman are somewhat thicker then on the Agilis.
We have a Swimstream pool in the shop and we have them both next to a lot of different models and brands.
They do have quite a specific fit and you maybe d up between 2 sizes which actually both don’t fit.

As an example. I like the ST in terms of how tight it feels around the body, but it is in that size too short from crotch to neck, but the MT is perfect in length but then becomes too wide……
And they are super vulnerable for cuts, you really need to be very very careful when putting it on. They are super flexible but the used materials and the stiffness of foam panels come at a price of delicate putting them on.
