Thanks. The college cross country team I coach has been wanting to do something and this might be it. We have an xc race on the schedule for the 17th but I think this would be the right thing to do.

I heard James Carville on the radio the other day, as he is trying to put this thing together. He’s friends with Tony Kornheiser (of ESPN, Washington Post, and radio fame), and they’re promoting the run throughout the DC area. For an event that was created literally hours ago, I expect this thing to be of a pretty decent size.

I would be there if I did have class Saturday morning. I remember Alexandria had some flooding from Isabel in 2003, of course that was nothing compared to Katrina.
