Upon trying to purchase the wireless HR strap and receiver, I am asked to determine if mine was purchased before or after the 05/01/05 date. It was actually right around there. Is there an easy way to figure this out?
Somewhere on their site there is a chart that will tell you based on what your serial number is.
Edit: You don’t need to know what year you have, you need to know if you have the right controller chip. When you first turn your computrainer on it will display your chip version number. If it shows something lower than 25.43 then you need the retrofit option. If it’s 25.43 or higher then you can go with the option that doesn’t include the chip upgrade.
Sola-Thanks! I am not too swift. I thought I just needed the HR strap. You should have seen me trouble shootin the heck out of this until I realized I needed some more parts.
