Have you tired Citrucel? I have to take that stuff two times a day becasue my G.I. tract had an African village living in it for two years. It works pretty good.
You might have a yeast allergy, candida in your large intestine. Do you find that it is worse when you eat or drink anything high in yeast - bread or beer.
This allergy is also fuelled by sugar. Try cutting out sugar, buying yeast-free rye bread, increasing fibre, and avoiding alcohol for while. Go for complex carbs like natural grains, wild rice, oat bran etc.
…or other food ‘sensitivities’ to something like dairy, wheat, corn, soy, or one of the other main culprits. Keep a food log of what you eat throughout the day for a few weeks/months, keeping note of bloating, elimination, energy vs. sluggishness, anything. You may be surprised to see a pattern. Also keep track of any supplements and medications you’re taking.
