I was called for an interview tomorrow for a position that I applied for a while ago. It’s a private company that does about 30M/yr from what I’ve been able to gather. I’ve used the sites hoovers.com and manta.com. Are there any other sites that might be able to give me a better snapshot? I’ve looked over their website extensively and just wanted to have a few nuggets to drop showing that I’ve done additional homework, etc…
I personally search their founders/execs on Google. You’ll be surprised what turns up. Speeches they’ve given or articles they’ve written will give you good insight and won’t always show up on their website. You can get a very good idea of competitors and potential market share just from industry magazines. Info on their competitors is great to talk about because it shows you understand the industry just as much as the company.
If you want to DM the company name I’m happy to help look. I’m unemployed so I do a lot of this research right now for my own job search
