So getting new floor next week and I need to move the fridge (and hopefully get a new one) but when I go to pull it out it won’t budge. It’s an old Kenmore (French door, bottom freezer) and on the bottom are the roller wheels and black legs or stabilizers? Do I need to take off the bottom panel and remove or loosen the black thingy’s to be able to move it? Normally refrigerators just pull away easy
Shine a flashlight in that circular hole to see if there’s a bolt head that you can reach in there. A hex key or Allen key would be my guess. You may have to turn that One Direction or the other in order to push the wheels down. The wheels sort of look like they are retracted like landing gear on an airplane so that the refrigerator is sitting on that Rubber or plastic stopper, (the black thing that you can see).
If you can turn the bolt head, then see which direction pushes the wheels down and essentially lifts the fridge up off of the rubber stopper and onto the wheels. Then it should move fairly easily.
