How to Edit Previous Post?

I’ve been on ST for forever, and I’ve never had problems editing a post (classifieds) and now I can’t figure it out.

I am listing items FS in the classifieds, and I want to update the post to change the title and remove pictures of things that have sold. However, when I click the edit pencil I see two views of my post with the left showing the history and the right showing the same thing, but not showing “history”.

Any ideas here? I don’t want to recreate the whole post.

Edit the left side. As you edit the left side, you will see the right side automatically update. Once done editing, hit save edit at the bottom left.

The right side is what will be visible to the public.

Classified post editing isn’t currently a feature (because of the post approval process for that subforum). Most people are just adding posts after with any edits, or flagging their post for a moderator to cull it.

Thanks-was wondering why it wasn’t working.

IF you are able to delete my longwinded post with my Trek SC and wheels-you can delete it. I sold my wheels and bike, helmet and a watch and can start a new post
