How to - assioma duo

Hi everyone,

Need help again. Just got my self assioma duo, but I wonder if i pair it with my garmin edge 1030, will it show the cadence in the garmin screen?

  1. I’m pairing it under power with my garmin - this will show the power output in the garmin screen. Do I need to pair it under cadence too to get the cadence figure in the garmin screen?

  2. Do I still need my garmin cadence sensor? Or can I leave without the cadence sensor and obtain the figures from the pedal?

I have both devices. When you pair the Assioma to the 1030, it will automatically know that it will get cadence and power. You just need to pair it once as a power meter, and the two will do the rest on their own.

No, you do not need a separate cadence sensor. I ditched my cadence sensor when I got my pedal power meter.
