I think Google has given up on my street. Older images include ones from:
2009
2011
2014
2015
2018
2019
Yet nothing since then. And the satellite image is from around the same time.
Is this just my area or is this a trend that Google is spending less money on this stuff?
Ha. Google Street View of my house was last done…this month.
Streetview is brand new from August. Satellite looks like early last winter.
My guess is they put more effort into areas that are changing. Near where I am is getting more houses and roads all the time.

But we’re moving cross town in a couple months, June 2023 there. Or July 2011. Or September 2007.
Satellite is unknown, probably 2020-22, spring or fall. Pools are closed, roof rack on my car, but the plaza next to my office was under construction.
They put more effort into areas where businesses are being added and/or changed. Streetview serves businesses, businesses are ad customers, google is an ad company.
Getting your neighborhood at the same time is kind of an afterthought.
Our house was built in 2022, there aren’t any street view images of our neighborhood. Satellite image looks like it’s from 2022 because my neighbor’s house is still under construction.

2012 which is very obvious because our house was built in 2013. The neighbor on one side has an image from 2022 (but you can’t see our house) and the neighbor two houses down on the other side is 2014. There most of have been an issue with the 2022 pass such that they couldn’t use the new images.

My house is about 60 years old, in a neighborhood that is not changing (although they are repaving a couple stretches today!), in a town that is pretty much built out.
Satellite view, late last year or early this spring.
Street view, does not exist for my road.
Unsure of how to check on mobile but I’m guessing 7-10 years old.
15 years does make a little difference.

Unfortunately a deer did a number on the tree closest to the road 3 years ago when I was late getting protection around them and it had to be replaced. It was relatively big and he just gouged the hell out of it and ended up killing it.
The most recent aerial is from earlier this year but the streetview of my house is from 2012.
October 2023. You could not tell if it wasn’t taken yesterday.
Out of curiosity, I found the house I grew up in.
Ours is from 2011.
