I’m really glad that the Heinz EZ Squirt ketchup (catsup?) made this list. Purple or green ketchup just ain’t right. I admit, I gave it a try, though. The novelty quickly wore off, as it appears it did for most consumers.
New Coke - That’s kind of a given
Windows Vista - Came with a work computer, but didn’t last long
USFL - Not a fan, just curious
Zune - I have a gen 3 in my office playing music right now. Why is this on the list. It was actually a pretty well thought out device
The Arch Burger
I’ve seen Ronin, but I didn’t pay for it - does that count?
I am still mocked by my friends for being a Betamax family ! I was a 100% sure that would be on the list.
Other then that I may have tried new coke and definitely saw 47 Ronin(when it came out on HBO). Although I don’t really understand why that movie was singled.
Watched Terra Nova for a couple episodes. Somehow they made a show with dinosaurs about asshole teenagers. I stopped watching even faster than they could cancel it.Seems like I had Vista on a computer. But working in IT it was not hard to get a better OS on it.Would love to have an Edsel. The whole anal leakage thing scared me off of WOW chips.Arch Deluxe was actually a tasty burger.47 Ronin was actually a crappy movie.

Ronin is not the same as 47 Ronin. Ronin (with Robert DeNiro) was a good movie and is renowned for some really good car chase scenes.

The only reason the Zune was a flop was that it wasn’t an iPod. I still have my 1st gen device (bought in 2008, I believe), hooked up to speakers and playing music.

close the reason was it didn’t have I-tunes. Most people don’t understand it was I-tunes that made Ipods successful.
Tried New Coke. Had a Vista laptop and that thing sucked. Persil Power was the first detergent I ever bought as I’d just gone to university and was doing my own laundry for the first time. Actually thought it was pretty cool for a while as it gave all my t-shirts a vintage look within a couple of washes.
I’m on Google+ and used it for a while for video conferences and meetings. Good features, just never hit critical mass. Watched 47 Ronin and quite enjoyed it, was watchable. My dad worked for Philips so we had a laser disc player. Was actually pretty cool tech for the time, problem was nowhere near enough movies available and it was crazy expensive. Philips were a great company at inventing stuff, their V2000 format was arguably better than either VHS or Betamax, they just sucked at getting the right content available on their format. If they hadn’t partnered with Sony on the CD they’d probably have screwed that up as well.
Bought several HP Touchpads when they were closed out for like $150 and they served us well for many years. Poaded Android on them to extend their life.
ET for the Atari? Check. Also still have a couple of Dreamcast consoles. Bestconsole of that generation.
New Coke was a definite, but can’t remember about Crystal Pepsi.
For bike related, I had an ergomo bottom bracket. Remember how successful those were?
Swanson eventually introduced a new line of frozen dinners called “Le Menu” in the 1980s which featured more sophisticated menus on undivided plastic microwavable plates with lids. But by then, the company was competing with many other strong brands, such as Stouffer’s. Stouffer’s had also begun targeting the diet market with it reduced-calorie Lean Cuisine frozen meal line. Swanson trailed behind these developments.
To be fair, they were really quite tasty, and I practically lived on them when I was single. I could get them by the dozen at our company store, at a deep discount but the price point for the consumer was a bit prohibitive
