How many miles (on your Hokas)?

How many miles do you get on your Hokas - before they lose that “these feel great” feeling?

If it makes a diff, I’m wearing Clifton 2’s.

I’ve gotten 400+ out of my C1s. I hated the 2s.

Probably lost the good feeling after 400. I kept wearing them though and at about 600 I started having some plantar fasciitis issues. Interestingly, the clifton 1 got softer over time but the clifton 2 seemed to get harder. Lesson learned, on to the clifton 3 now.

I put ~800 miles on a pair of Clifton 2’s last winter/spring; the only reason I stopped wearing them was because I stepped on a piece of glass and sliced the sole completely open!

I’m at 400 for my Hoka 3’s and they still feel pretty good. I just got a new pair so I’ll be rotating them in shortly.

I’ve got the following in my regular rotation at the moment:

Bondi 4 - 673 miles (will probably retire soon)
Bondi 4 - 245 miles (in a sweet spot)
Challenger - 45 miles (haven’t decided if I like these yet)
Clifton 2 - 438 miles (love these, feeling really good)
Clifton 2 - 372 miles (for some reason these aren’t that great, will retire any day now)
Conquest - 443 miles (semi-retired, they stay in my travel bag for business trips)

Yes, I’ve obviously got a Hoka problem. I’m about to order a new pair of Bondis as well as the Clayton (been wanting to try them).

Got 900+ from my last pair of Clifton 1’s waiting for the 3! 2’s sucked for wide feet folks.

My C2’s are really weird. My first pair I got pretty much on day 1 and they are awesome. Never could understand why people were complaining. My second pair however constantly bother me - too narrow. I’m convinced that although my first pair are labeled C2’s that they were somehow made using the C1 mold. They are a completely different shoe than my other ones.

I have an original pair of Bondi S’s from 2012 and still rotate them in occasionally w/ a pair of Kailua Tarmacs that have 200 miles on them. I almost wish they wore out sooner so I could justify buying new ones…
