I just found it…67 feet vs. 75 of a regular…I think the term olympic has been misused over the years

According to the US Swimming rule book,

long course is 50 meters
short course is 25 meters OR 25 yards (which is

length can vary by .003 meters.

There is not an actual official Jr. Olympic pool dimension.

No such thing!

Lots of hotels claim to have an Olympic size pool…which should be 50 meters long. Then you see it and it is like 14 meters long. Ha!

In Fresno, a new gym was being built just around the corner from where I lived. Big sign advertized “Junior Olympic Size Pool”. Had to laugh when I saw the hole in the ground.

Ended up being four lanes and just under 25 yards, 4 1/2’ at the deepest.
