**EPO is tested for by measuring your hematocrit level. In my sport a positive test would be anything over 50%. There is no way to test for EPO in itself. For one, its half life is 5-6 hours and its effects last longer as I have found. 2nd is that it is the same molecule as what the body produces. I think this could help after or in between cycles or in during dieting when you are doing aerobics. I mean, anything that will let you work out harder and be less sore would be great. **

That is anaerobic and then aerobic with no burning. It seems to me that weight training which is mostly anaerobic would benefit and if you didn’t start to burn during a set you would get all that much more work. If you can get more O2 into the cell it appears to be an entirely different ballgame. Granted, more oxygen will keep you from going anaerobic at the same exertion level, but going anaerobic AND NOT HAVING anaerobic symptoms indicates that the limit is the o2 level and not the ability to remove acids or convert them to energy.

that is old information, there is in fact a direct test for EPO now, one that the urine from lance armstrong’s 1999 tour failed in an unofficial test.

should I have used Ricco as an example instead? That was CERA, I’m not aware who else has failed for EPO besides lance.

I am not sure if it is linear like CdA but if you increase your HcT from 40-48 that would be a 20% increase in oxygen so your power might go up 20%? So maybe 3-4 minutes for a 40k TT. That would not include the benefits from taking testosterone where the benefits would depend on your mental strength. If you were take coke too to keep the mind running then overall maybe 5-7 minutes for a 40k

30 seconds off of what starting time 30 seconds from 30 minute 5k is probably effort dependent. 30 seconds off a sub 18 minute 5k is a different ball game.

No one knows this. There are no “doping regimine” studies out there. You expect someone to chime up and say well Mr. DoubleTrouble if you take X units of Testosterone, Y units of HGH and Z units of EPO along with a 12 hour training plan then you will be XX seconds faster in a 40k TT? This is simply an absurd open ended question. Spend the 5000$ and get back to us with the results.

I dont have that money. Just wondering when I see guys who I train with suddenly have an exponential performance upgrade whether it isthe juice or the equipment that got them there.

Could it be the training you are doing with them is helping or that they are sandbagging it then training harder later?

no way to know. I had an exponential improvement from the couples triathlon to the marble falls triathlon, 7 days apart and I didn’t cheat.
