OK, I’m getting weighed in at work tomorrow, and if I show anything more than a reasonable gain in BF, I lose 500 bucks. Its a bet we have, and whoever has the best percentage increase over 12 weeks wins. I am killing everyone, however, if I am over 12% , I lose. Last thursday I was at 9.2%, but I did less working out this week.
My question is how fast will I gain back the fat.
Last 12 weeks I have Lifted/Ran/Swam, etc. Also, my diet was very very strict. I gained a good amount of muscle and shedded fat away. 15% BF to 9.2% BF.
This week my diet was still strict, however, my excersize has gone down this week. I didnt play frisbee this week, ran twice rather than 4 times, and lifted just once.
In short:
12 weeks ago: 15% BF
hardcore working out/diet
Last Thursday: 9.2% BF
Since then, much less excersize, but hard diet (…except saturday )
Can you guys give me a decent prediction of what my body fat will be at this week?
Depends how you’re measuring BF. If you’re using one of those electrical restistance devices like Tanita makes, the measured number can be affected by your hydration level. It’s a little weird to measure your body fat with one of those, then take a leak, then measure it again and see a measurable difference. When I’ve used one to track my BF, I made sure to use it at the same time every day: right out of bed, after bathroom, before coffee.
Nice job man! What did you use to measure? 8% is a pretty nice number!
Yeah, hard work to get in shape. It’s troubling how many people in this country think that there is some OTHER way to get in shape; other than eating right and exercising a lot. Truely amazing what people will believe in order to stay lazy.
