I am thinking about Ironman Frankfurt for 2021. I know this is a popular race. I am curious, how long does this normally take to sell out? minutes? hours? a few days? If I am online as soon as registrion opens are my chances good?

Fast but not hours fast, oprned 8 july, 2000 slots sold in first hours, about a week before it was all sold out, around the 17-19 july.
You can just scroll down their fb page as they call out slots left before sig up closes.
